What are the measures to reduce the strength of aerated block equipment?

November 11, 2021
Recently, some users have reported that improper operation will reduce the strength of aerated products, but the specific reason for the reduction is not clear. So how to prevent it? Here are some measures to prevent the strength decline of aerated block equipment.
Raw materials for the storage and feeding of aerated block equipment are transported into the plant by truck. Fly ash (or sand and stone powder) is concentrated in the raw material yard and transported into the hopper when in use. Bagged cement or bulk cement shall be stored in the cement warehouse. Use shipping hopper when in use. Chemicals and aluminum powder shall be placed in the chemical warehouse and aluminum powder warehouse respectively, and shall be transported to the production workshop when in use.

The raw materials of aerated block are treated by ball mill. The fly ash (or sand and stone powder) is sent to the ball mill through electromagnetic vibration feeder and belt conveyor. The ground fly ash (or sand and stone powder) is sent to the slurry tank for storage by fly ash pump.
Measure 1: the volume of the block increased by 9.59% due to the water freezing in the aerated block equipment. The more water in the raw materials, the greater the frost expansion value. After thawing, the volume of the block produced by the aerated concrete block equipment with increased frost heave could not be restored to its original shape, making the original expanded volume gap larger and the strength decreased by about 10.68%. Therefore, pay attention to prevent water freezing in the aerated block equipment during production.

Measure 2: when mixing raw materials, the production line of aerated block equipment shall pay attention to the water film generated after aggregate mixing. After freezing, the adhesion decreases, resulting in the strength of aerated products falling to 13.57%. In the face of this situation, it is necessary to pay attention to the water film generated after aggregate mixing.
Measure 3: when thawing the frozen aerated products, the water is transferred. This pressure makes the block unbearable, resulting in the decrease of block strength. In the face of this situation, it needs to be transferred according to the actual pressure.
